I'm so sorry Robyn. The photos are wonderful. There is so much love shimmering in all of them. They never truly leave us, do they.... sending soft pets to her sweet little head while she lays curled in your heart now.

So sorry to learn why we haven't heard from you for a while. 'La Snowy' is a wonderful, though heartbreaking, post -- as is 'A Day in My Life' from April 15 last year.

A sad time, Robyn, and I am so sorry. Our Fur Persons are so very much family that they leave a vast emptiness when they go away. I am so glad that you have her in photographs and pictures because, as you know,in time those will form a place to be with her along with your memories.

I know how much Snowy meant to you all - but especially you (aka Mrs S). I also know what it feels like to lose a little furry friend when they've been with you as long as Snowy had. My heart goes out to you and I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.

Just keep going back over all those photos you will have. The ones in the post are absolutely wonderful - she's such a real sweetie.

So sorry to hear about the lost of your beloved companion Snowy, these little babes come into our lives and find the warmth and love in a corner of our hearts and then are gone but never forgotten. In the past I have said never again but then some little or sometimes big fur baby comes and steals into our hearts again and we do all have the wonderful memories and now lots of photos which are painful to look at whilst its still raw but then when the pain starts to heal we can get such joy and comfort knowing that we loved them and they loved us

What a special, beautiful dog Snowy was. I'm so sorry that she has passed on. I know she will always be with you. Think about the times she made you laugh. I know how you feel - I've lost a dog and two cats this year.

Robyn. She was a doll and had a wonderful life with you. Keep the memories and she'll always be there.

I received my sketchbook back from its trips around the USA and leafing through it found the little drawing I did of Snowy. She was well travelled and admired.

Robyn, I'm sorry for your loss. Our 'girl dog' Siena died in August. It is the first time we have been without a dog in 20 years. A very strange feeling. I know Dermott must miss her too. The last photo is so sweet.

Thank you all for your kindness. I have tried to reply to you all personally - if I've missed anyone it is because I haven't been able to find an email address or blog. I'm very grateful to you all.

Dermott is being spoiled more than usual.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Robyn. I've been in my own crisis mode so I'm just now seeing this. What a wonderful tribute you have here though.

I'm so sorry. She does look like an absolute angel. I know how hard it is to lose a dog that has been with you so long. I still grieve my old dogs (and cats) and they're so long gone. That connection is one that never ends I think. (p.s. no need for you to reply personally, just wanted offer my heartfelt condolences).

Robyn, I just now have had a chance to check your blog and have learned about Snowy's death. I know how much you loved her----your blog title alone tells us a great deal. She was certainly a lucky little creature, having you as her owner and nurturer.
What a long life she had, what travels, what adventures you gave her!
Sending you many hugs, dear Robyn.
